Serene Point
Project TeamcloseSerene Point
Nestled into a gently sloped oceanfront meadow, this residence capitalizes on the western ocean views. Stucco walls protect the house on 3 sides and open to a glass curtain wall on the ocean side. The contemporary features are balanced by the warmth and history which the reclaimed materials bestow upon home. The house is organized along a central hall, it’s partially glazed roof brings early morning light into the center of the home. The garage on the highway side of the structure not only blocks highway noise, it also creates a courtyard which provides shelter from the often strong winds on the ocean side of the structure.
