Garrapata Remodel
Project TeamcloseGarrapata Remodel
This small ocean front retreat in Big Sur, originally built for writer Rosemary Rogers by Mickey Muenig had long been abandoned and vandalized when we got a chance to restore it. We improved the home’s connection to the environment by subtly manipulating the terrain around the structure and installing native landscaping on the roof. We gave the inside a new life with all new surface materials as well as a new kitchen and bathroom.
