Located in a Texas high rise, this 20,000 square foot floor had all the issues common to most older office spaces: a dark center completely dependent on fluorescent lighting, low ceilings of acoustic tile and a series of disorienting narrow corridors. By introducing layers of clear and translucent glazing to define individual spaces, daylight was brought all the way to the elevator core. The ceiling was lifted strategically where mechanical and structural elements allowed it and a curvilinear traffic pattern let us avoid long and unattractive corridors halls.
